Lead and guide our Image Guided Therapy (IGT) organization through the transformation necessary to execute our long-term strategy. We challenge you to take ownership of the strategic and operational IGT Systems programs, projects and portfolio (Project Management Office). You will be E2E responsible for managing projects/programs, prioritization, planning and execution of our project roadmap and business benefits realization. You are responsible for * End-to-end managing with your team, the portfolio of projects and make sure all objectives are achieved, balancing quality, scope, schedule, requirements and budget, driving monitoring, delivery and reporting on the execution realization * Providing leadership to the Project Management Excellence function: formulating and implementing the Portfolio and Project Management vision thereby steering the team towards best-in-class execution excellence in portfolio and project management * Acting as a gatekeeper within the management team by bringing transparency around all programs in the business unit and work with the team to set the right priorities and sequence based on the business objectives and the level of maturity in the market * Defining, implementing and deploying continuous improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. * Leading and coaching the PMO-Team, creating a performance culture and support their career development * Ensuring flawless and highly effective stakeholder management , with regular communication towards key business and functional leaders * Working closely together with all leaders in the business on critical priorities in driving the programs to success * Acting as an active member of the IGT Systems Management Team You are a part of The Business Unit (BU) IGT Systems based in Best, the Netherlands. This BU is responsible for marketing, innovation, development, manufacturing and service of Image Guided Therapy Systems and Services used in the area of cardiac and vascular medical diagnosis and intervention. The customers are hospitals and their medical specialists. As Senior Director Project Management Office in IGT Systems you will be a member of the BU's Management Team and report directly to the Senior Vice President - Business Leader of IGT Systems. You will manage a high performing team of around 20 people: the PMO organization consists of one Portfolio Manager, a team of skilled Integral Project Managers and the Project Support Office.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience * A global executive leader with 10+ years of proven and successful track record in planning and execution of complex programs (project management or/and PMO role) on a global scale combined with hands on change management experience in a business/product development environment * Very strong project and program management capabilities and experience - PMP certification is required for this role (MS project, Critical Chain management). * Understanding of the healthcare domain * Operational business / R&D experience are an advantage with a strong understanding of P&L elements and drivers, and the ability to work with and consolidate financial data * Track record in managing continuous improvement (LEAN, Six Sigma, Black Belt, DFSS) and Change Management / Business Transformation programs (Lean / Six Sigma certification is strongly preferred) * Influencing skills to challenge, educate, guide, convince and gain commitment from senior executives * Communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels * Solutions mindset - the ability to identify and tackle complex problems with thorough consideration of alternatives, consequences * Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams where management through influence is required at all levels
