Our Engineers are the heart of ING. We solve some of the hardest problems around ranging from building microservices, to building a mature monitoring environment around them and much more. You will be working within one the ten Dev Ops teams (Squads). The department is working in a Dev Ops manner, where Scrum/Agile method and Continious Delivery practices are very important. As a Software Engineer you'll be responsible for jokes, implementing new features, design, build, test and deploy. We release several times per week, but perhaps you can help us automating the pipeline? Stack We use the right tool for the job and believe in well tested, robust code. If you can improve quality, you become a super hero within seconds! Our stack: java, spring, cucumber, maven, jersey, AngularJS, polymer, jasmine, Protractor. If you start tomorrow you would on a diverse range of projects such as: * Building micro services that will be provide customer value in MING, mobile and Branches. * Constantly improving quality and automation. * Making sure our services are future proof and can handle constantly increasing load.
* You can tell at least one Dutch joke. * You finished a BSc degree in Information Technology * You have knowledge and experience (>5 years) with programming in at least two languages one of them is Java * You have fair ITIL knowledge * You have good knowledge of risk and security measures * You also have good knowledge of Unix/Linux and Oracle * You know continues integration tooling (JIRA, TFS, UFT) * You enjoy to come up with solutions in new technologies. * You have experience in an Agile/Scrum/Dev/Ops team. * You are flexible with respect to working pattern/hours * You have an excellent spoken and written command of English * You speak up, are transparent and not shy to confront somebody.
