We believe each moment in sports can change the plan, change the game and change lives. That’s why our mission is to build the world’s most powerful network of sports video and data to empower teams to make every moment count.
How? By hiring people around the world who want to help us support coaches, players, analysts, recruiters, teams, clubs and fans. Hudl customers use our products to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and a lot more. They stay ahead of the game with the latest technology and we help them achieve their goals.
Want to join us?
We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to join us and work on one of Hudl’s most innovative new products: Hudl Focus (). Our new connected camera is entirely autonomous and can film any sporting event, anywhere, at any time. You will be part of a small agile cross-functional squad that brings to life new devices and gets them operational for the rest of the team to start using.
Experienced in embedded systems. Have 5+ years experience in building, supporting, and extending hardware solutions powered by Linux.
Outcome driven. You can be trusted to build high-quality and well-tested features on time.
A Mentor. You level up other developers around you—people seek your opinion.
Naturally curious and never stop learning. You’re hungry for more knowledge and ideas, and able to show us how that improves the way you work. You think about what might happen in the most extreme cases, constantly digging deeper to learn more.
Pragmatic. We seek to operate with a sense of urgency to move quickly and learn from value increments, but not at the expense of user experience / product quality. You understand that balancing act.
Excited to interact with coaches that care deeply about their craft and are eager to give us feedback.
Lead. You’ll set an example for others in planning, designing, and delivering complex projects.
Own the problem. You will work in an autonomous squad that has the freedom and expertise to deliver the best solution.
Power our next generation of devices. Your team is responsible for turning early prototypes into fully functioning devices. You will get to work on the low-level components powering the full stack of the device.
Deliver great user value. You will work on one of Hudl’s most innovative products that is changing the way coaches prepare for and stay ahead of the competition.
Be an involved team member . You will actively participate in scrum ceremonies and proactively and thoughtfully create tickets for the team’s backlog.
Treat you like an adult . It’s all about a healthy work-life balance. We’ll trust you to get work done and take a break when you need it. (Hello, unlimited vacation policy!)
Give you what you need . We’ll supply the environment and tools for success, allowing you to focus on professional growth and career development.
Challenge you . You'll be surrounded by people equally committed to the company's success, allowing for constant collaboration.
Reward you. A strong perks package and office benefits.
