The Work Environment

In equensWorldline SE the team Competence Center Front End & Post Processing Services is responsible for a range of services we offer to our clients in the Payments area. The team consist of 20 people of which 3 Requirements & Solution Analysts. You will work in an Agile team focusing on customer specific and application management needs related to our SEPA processing services. By definition the work is varied ranging from defining the requirements for the infrastructure needed for customers to securely utilize our core payment processing services to designing new services in the pre- and post-processing areas.

What will your job look like

As the ideal candidate you must be able to:

  • Define requirements, based on requests and wishes of internal and external customers, in a structured manner;
  • Take the leading role in organizing workshops for aligning requirements;
  • Translate all requirements, in accordance with the architectural principles and guidelines and in alignment with Architect and Requirements and Solution Analyst colleagues, in functional designs which are converted by software engineers in technical design and application systems;
  • Prepare budget estimations of your assignments and performs quality inspections;
  • Collaborate with customers, clients and colleagues about the desired functionalities and solutions in a multinational context: there is intensive collaboration with colleagues in several European countries and India, and possibly with employees of customers in Austria, Germany and Netherlands. Being part of the Worldline global company it is expected that cooperation will even be intensified in the near future with locations in other countries.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Support business development activities;
  • Support other teams on their questions related to the payments services domain;
  • Co-responsible for the requirements management process;
  • Align, analyze, assort, describe & review of the business, user and system requirements following the agreed process;
  • Analyze the required changes and describes the required business and information administration of the domain;
  • Draughting and calculation of functional designs of changes and new developments;
  • Realization of (ad hoc) information analysis;
  • Realization and maintenance of the system documentation;
  • Support the development team on the realization of changes;
  • Support the realization of functional test plans;
  • Quality control on products delivered by other team members;
  • Participate in an pro-active way in the Scrum rituals part of working in a SAFe framework.

  • Skills we can’t do without:

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written;
  • At least Higher Vocational level;
  • Relevant experience on Requirements Engineering;
  • Relevant experience on Information Analysis and on Functional Design;
  • Experience in working with both traditional and modern software development methodologies like RUP and SCRUM;
  • Internationally oriented, amongst others shown in language skills; beside the mother tongue, proficient English is a condition;
  • You are willing to travel sporadically abroad;
  • Experience in the Payments area. This can be SEPA payments and/or Instant Payments.
  • Skills we’d like:

  • An IREB certificate is an advantage.
  • Experience as PO or SM
  • Knowledge of the SAFe framework
  • Dutch and/or German language capabilities are a pre
