Operations Quality Engineer

* Responsible for performing timely quality engineering and quality assurance tasks.

* Accountable for ensuring Manufacturing quality systems are established, maintained and documented according to needs of the business, customers and applicable quality system standards &regulations at manufacturing line level and as individual contributor.

* Provide oversight of Q&R supported Manufacturing NPI projects ensuring timely completion of project deliverables, correcting issues delaying completion and reporting on status of projects at project level.

* Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

* Qualified expert who is developing beyond entry level knowledge of the quality assurance and quality engineering field.

* Has working knowledge of manufacturing systems products and services.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

You will support and improve operations activities at Philips Healthcare MR Operations as an independent authority using the relevant QMS procedures in order to achieve timely releases of innovative products that deliver high quality and outstanding reliability to the lives they will improve. You will monitor adherence/compliance to those procedures. You will contribute in improving production processes and part quality using procedures and work instructions in order to ensure compliance with the appropriate Philips Policies, standards and regulations required by the products supported. You will participate in departmental activities needed to maintain an effective and adequate QMS.

Can you take a pro-active yet pragmatic and incremental approach to ensure compliance with Quality Systems and regulations that govern product and process development within the department? Than that job will fill your expectations.

You are responsible for
* Responsible for control of non-conforming parts/products and addressing of adequate corrective and preventive actions (process, design, supplier)
* Planning, execution and support of external and internal audits
* Deploy global procedures to the local quality manual
* Release of global production processes
* Establishing procedures and tools for adjusting and measurement of quality goals
* Definition and monitoring of product related quality data Report Quality Results to the next level of management
* Definition and reporting of relevant KPI´s in alignment with other production sites
* Review and deploy documents according to the local quality manual
* Review and final Release of Product DHRs
* Review and deployment of operations related QMS procedures
* Training of employees in regard to the quality manual and related procedures
* Lead of process improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma)

You are part of a multi-disciplinary team of 14FTE. The team consists of professionals and industry experts with a wide variety of backgrounds in Quality Assurance: Supplier Quality assurance, Software & Systems Quality Assurance, Quality Systems Manager, QMS/CAPA manager. Engagement, drive, dedication and teamwork are at the heart of the group.

The Quality Assurance team works as a team with manufacturing engineering to improve product quality speed up approval timelines and ensure we are fully compliant. Our aim is to achieve timely releases of products with high quality and outstanding reliability. The Quality team is reporting in Q&R (independent), but works closely together with Operations (factory).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

To be suitable for this role you are graduated (bachelor degree) in technical or engineering or/and IT related field(s). You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Furthermore, you have:
* Bachelor degree
* 3-5 years of experience within a medical device company or highly regulated industry preferable in a Quality Assurance or project management role (medical devices, automotive or aerospace)
* Experience in service environment and life cycle management (product maintenance).
* Experience with working in multi-disciplinary team
* You are hands-on, quality minded and customer focused. Persistent, pragmatic, able to influence others.
* Demonstrated ability to understand and develop processes and interact and communicate in English, including demonstrable writing, speaking, and comprehension skills; ability to communicate across levels of the organization.
* Knowledge required: ISO 13485, ISO 14971, 21CFR Part 820, process validation, FMEA, Six Sigma, statistical techniques.
* Fluently Dutch and English speaker.
