NPI to Cash - Project Manager

In this role, you have the opportunity to

be part of one of the keystone transformation programs here at Philips as one of one of several project managers on the New Product Introduction to Cash (NPI2Cash) program. A a global program team, working across multiple geographies and international cultures where you can make a significant difference in the way we work across our quote to cash domain.

The role holder will have a particular focus on release management, a highly critical role that brings together multiple parts of our technical implementation into a coherent deployable package – known as a release.Whilst being technically competent in software delivery lifecycle processes, agile practices, and in working in validated environments – you will also be able to communicate the implementation in a meaningful way to users and stakeholders. This is a pivotal role that ensures that our releases are effectively and efficiently managed and implemented.

NPI2Cash is an End2End transformation program that will provide our customers with one quote, consisting of a need-based solution and selected deal types, combined in one Philips offer, resulting in one order and one invoice. This is a complex, multi-year transformation program, with global coverage and reach for which we are looking for a Project Manager – with a focal on Release Management.

You are responsible for

  • Daily release management co-ordination – Integration management through [but not exclusively via] a bi-weekly meeting with IT, Data, and Product Management to review the statuses of the upcoming releases, act on risks, escalations and dependencies.

  • Tiger Team Management – Co-ordinating required reviews of these issue resolution focused teams, ensuring alignment across teams, and preparing the program lead with the obstacles and ambiguities that need addressing

  • User Acceptance Test Management – a critical phase of activity that requires co-ordination across multiple teams on the program.The role holder will ensure UAT approach preparation, kick-off UAT activity across BPEs, prepare progress overviews including via Azure UAT Dashboard and queries setup and UAT closure.

  • Hypercare Defect management - Leading internal SNOW defects exceptions meetings.Hypercare Defect Management process definition with IT GS and EIM, and ensuring that the loop is closed between program CCB and SNOW tickets

  • You are a part of

    The NPI to Cash program team and PMO.Broader, the program is part of our overall Transformation Portfolio and Business Transformation function. The role is on senior manager level, full time, located in Eindhoven/Best and we prefer to hire a candidate who is already located in The Netherlands.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience

  • Proven ability to be a strong, independent project manager who can manage a complex technology led implementation

  • PMP [or equivalent] accreditation

  • Agile Certified practitioner

  • Knowledge and experience in Lean methodologies

  • Experience in coaching team through daily management, problem solving and Hoshin methodologies

  • Transformational experience: Experience of work within / leading matrix teams across large, geographically spread global programs

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

  • Strong communicator who is able to work with all levels of the organization

  • Able to work with a large and diverse range of stakeholders

  • Team player who can collaborate with and support the program team

  • Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage
