A Day in the Life

The Operational & strategic Performance Management Center of Excellence (OPM CoE) spans entire Medtronic and supports the Western Europe sales force and management in driving revenue, achieving sustainable growth, profit and ultimately market share by enabling and enhancing overall effectiveness and efficiency and increasing productivity.

The OPM CoE is intended to develop, deploy and manage sales enablement tools and analytics and deliver them through a harmonized, integral sales information framework.

The Sales Analyst is a specialist that will work closely with, and will report to, Business Intelligence Manager. The Sales Analyst is a capable individual who high agility in reporting design and development. This role will support the maintenance and enhancements of tactical projects and initiatives across Western Europe with an additional focus on design and development.

You will maintain business analysis tools to support the business processes and additionally, support the development and implementation of tactical projects and initiatives across Western Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains, Updates and delivers existing Business Analytics
  • Ensures consistency and harmonization of sales reporting process, working closely with Sales Incentive Team, shared services and other functions withing Medtronic. Investigates and understands all the steps needed to build the information, finding and addressing all the gaps.
  • Updates and delivers Performance Tracking tools in Countries/BUs.
  • Maintains a harmonized and centralized information framework (i.e., product family definitions, templates, SharePoint users, Tableau users)
  • Delivers Product Reports and Trackers, Sales performances trackers, and ad-hoc analytics to support strategic or tactical Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Maintains, designs and develops Tableau reports
  • Under the supervision of Business Intelligence manager, partners with other functions in Commercial Operations and Sales & Marketing to develop new data analytic needs and participates in projects to develop and implement solutions
  • Must Haves

    • BA degree (e.g. Business Admin) or similar Business Analytics qualification

    • Experienced with software: Advanced Excel, Access, Advanced VBA programming, SQL, Office automation

    • Written and spoken English necessary

    • Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment

    • Strong team player

    • Strong quality focus

    • Pro-active

    Nice to Haves

    • Experience with Tableau highly advantageous

    • Second European Language

    • Experience with other analytical / BI tools

    • Business Analytics Experience preferable

    • Multinational work environment experience
