For our site in Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands, we are looking for an
IT Helpdesk Analyst
In the role of IT Helpdesk Analyst you will be responsible for IT systems and on-site support for end users in the Alphen office, as well as remote support for offices in other parts of Europe. You will provide business continuity by resolving issues in a timely manner and advising on any request for information. All IT assistance will be done professionally while providing excellent customer service. This position reports to Jeroen Nieuwland, Supervisor IT helpdesk.
Typical day-to-day responsibilities and tasks include:
First line of contact as IT ServiceDesk for users EMEA region
Support IT colleague in APAC region
Daily huddle sessions
Resolving Helpdesk tickets and providing technical assistance to end users by answering questions or troubleshooting issues, via phone, chat or face to face interaction.
Configuration of workstations
Continuous improvement activities around IT processes and procedures
Knowledge management (document creation)
IT Helpdesk Analyst may perform other duties from time-to-time as required to fulfill organizational needs.
Qualifications / Requirements for success
What we believe is the right skill set to be successful in this position:
1-3 years of prior experience in generalized IT systems and end user support
At least an MBO (Associate's) degree in IT or a related field. Related professional certifications and training are highly desirable, ITIL preferred.
Comprehensive generalized IT knowledge in:PC hardware/software installation and configuration, computer networks and standard operating systems, label printers and iPhones. Knowledge and prior experience with Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, Windows 10, SharePoint and ERP systems.

Excellent listening and communication skills; willingness to strive for operational excellence, via clear and concise communication. (Be able to communicate outstandingly in English)
